We prefer all inspiration to be shared via Pinterest boards. Whether it’s one board or multiple boards for different aspects of your special day, we do not mind. We have found that Pinterest works the easiest. If you see something on social media, you’re welcome to share it on our WhatsApp group for all relevant participants to see.

We communicate directly with our clients, mostly the bride or groom. We do not communicate with a third person unless arranged by our client. We use email for communication to ensure that all conversations can be tracked. We do not respond to other forms of communication such as social media or WhatsApp unless it is urgent. In urgent cases, we create a WhatsApp group with the Alon team and the bride and groom for quick messaging.

In-person or online meetings can be requested by our clients. Our meeting hours are from 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Thursday.

Our core value is Partnership, and your creative vision is at the heart of our work. We begin with a deep dive into your story, style, and preferences to understand what makes your relationship unique. We then use our creative expertise and our trusted network of local artisans to curate every detail, ensuring your celebration is an authentic and bespoke reflection of you as a couple.

Our packages do not include transport or accommodation for the Alon team to the venue or for the weekend of your wedding. This is an additional cost. We prefer to book accommodation ourselves unless arranged differently with our clients.

We always recommend rehearsals the day before the wedding to ensure that the bridal party, including the bride and groom, are comfortable with walking in, knowing where to be seated, etc. This usually does not take longer than 15-30 minutes.

If you are planning to have a wedding outside, you should always have a Plan B for all aspects, whether it’s related to the ceremony, pre-drinks, or other parts of the event. Having a Plan B from the start helps avoid hidden costs that might arise two weeks before the wedding.

A wedding planner is involved from the beginning to the end of your wedding planning process. They help plan and coordinate various aspects of your wedding, ensuring everything runs smoothly. On the other hand, an on-the-day coordinator is only present on the actual wedding day. Their primary responsibility is to make sure that everything happens according to the planned timeline and to handle any last-minute issues that may arise.

Styling a wedding focuses on creating the overall aesthetic and atmosphere for the wedding day. At Alon, we specialise in styling weddings, and it is included in our full wedding package. On the other hand, coordinating a wedding primarily involves managing the logistics and timelines on the day itself, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, but may not be directly involved in the wedding’s visual design.

We provide a budget template to our clients as soon as they book our services, giving them an idea of how to allocate their budget to different aspects of the wedding. Additionally, we hav a meeting dedicated to discussing the budget and costs with our clients at the beginning of the planning process.

Typically, a 50% deposit is required from suppliers to secure bookings, and then two weeks before your wedding day all payments must be paid in full.

As soon as you’re satisfied with the wedding’s overall look and feel, we will start outsourcing quotations from suppliers. This process usually takes place at least 4-5 months before the wedding day.

The Alon team will commence the breakdown process on the evening of your wedding. We will ensure that all items are picked up the next day, and we will handle returning all the items to their respective suppliers. Our team takes responsibility for the smooth breakdown and cleanup after the wedding.
